IRWA Education Conference in Atlanta
Posted in Events

So I'm off to Atlanta for the IRWA's Annual Education Conference.  I'll be there from Saturday night through Wednesday, and along with our outgoing President Michele Folk from OPC, I'll be representing Chapter 67 in Orange County as its nearly-installed President.  (Ironically enough, I'm missing my own installation, which takes place during the Conference.)

It will also be a bit of a Nossaman Eminent Domain reunion for me.  In addition to my current Partner, David Graeler, who will be there as President Elect of Chapter 1, two of my former Nossaman colleagues, John Murphy and Brad Grabske, will be presenting a session entitled Eminent Domain Update: Developments in Eminent Domain Law Across The Country... And Around The World.  (I'm really looking forward to the "Around the World" part.)

I also understand Orell Anderson, a multi-term Chapter 67 Past President, is speaking at sessions throughout the day on Monday.  (Orell, if you're reading this after the conference and wondering why you didn't see me in the audience, rest assured that I really wanted to be there but knew in advance I wouldn't understand a word you were saying.)

If you're going to be there, please track me down.  I know I'll be one of more than 1,000 people there, but as I'm constantly reminded, I'm pretty loud, so I'm sure I'll be hard to miss.

If you're coming, I'll see you there.  If you're not coming, I'll report back sometime next week on what you missed.
